We are students at George Mason University who like to invent and we are working together with the George Mason community and the community abroad to develop new inventions. [mission statement] [goals]

We conceive, develop, implement and market applicable inventions ideally that are beneficial to man, the economy and the environment. We offer opportunities for participants to learn the skills needed to invent successfully, the opportunity to work on inventions, and the opportunity for leadership development in establishing a successful inventor's laboratory and an innovation center. | Faculty Advisors
Tomasz Arciszewski, Ph.D.
At George Mason University, Tomasz Arciszewski teaches courses in structural engineering, on Design and Inventive Engineering, and on decision making. Presently, his research is focused on computational creativity in engineering and on evolutionary designing, including design for blast. He is also working on a reform of civil engineering education.
Tomasz Arciszewski has more than 130 publications, including book chapters, journal papers, and conference proceedings papers. Recently, he published, as guest editor, the Special Issue of the Journal of Technological Forecasting and Social Change, entitled "Innovation: the Key to Progress in Technology and Society." He is also on the editorial boards of two journals, including the Journal of Technological Forecasting and Social Change and the Journal of Automation in Construction, both published by Elsevier.
Dr. Peter W. Pachowicz, Ph. D.
In 1989, he joined Computer Science Department of George Mason University as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Beginning 1990 he was an Assistant Professor, and in 1992 he moved to the Systems Engineering Department to reflect his inter-disciplinary research interests. He received tenure and Associate Professor position in 1995. He with his students won the 1st Price in the 'Learning and Technology' competition evaluated and granted by the industry. In 1998 he moved to the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
His research expertise includes machine vision/perception, intelligent systems engineering, hybrid systems engineering, automatic target recognition, SAR data analysis, decision support systems, machine learning for engineering problems, evolving self-adaptive systems, knowledge-based systems, autonomous agents, data and decision fusion, information systems, simulation and modeling, intelligent robotics, and applied research. His research has been sponsored by DARPA, BMDO, AFOSR, NSF, NIMA, OSD, and local industry.
He published over 60 papers in the area of his interests. He serves as a referee for professional journals and publishers, and serves as an editor to Machine Vision and Graphics Journal.
