Mr. Jelinek is a patent agent in Pillsbury’s Intellectual Property practice. Mr. Jelinek is not an attorney. As a patent agent, Mr. Jelinek performs all tasks related to patent drafting and prosecution.

Prior to joining Pillsbury, Mr. Jelinek served as a Patent Examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office where he was responsible for the examination of patents in the communications technology center pertaining to digital imaging. Mr. Jelinek has experience in semiconductors and image sensors, communications, video, image analysis, graphical user interfaces and software, and digital camera functions.

David Fuller

David Fuller is a seasoned executive in business and economic development, strategic planning, high technology manufacturing, international business, and marketing.  He has founded three non-profit organizations. He currently serves with Virginia’s Department of Business Assistance.  There he is responsible for Agency outreach, entrepreneur development in Virginia, and client consulting for business retention and expansion.

Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President for an accounting, business services and tax firm, a Senior Technology Manager for a Fortune 500 contract manufacturing firm, owned a small contract manufacturing firm, and was Manager of a $130M value-added international operation of a Fortune 100 firm.  He constructed manufacturing plants in Spain, Mexico, and China.

He has extensive economic and social development experience in regional public education, public safety, government affairs, comprehensive planning, and social services.  Dave is Secretary of the Virginia Police Chief’s Foundation, Treasurer of the Historic Polegreen Church Foundation, Inc. and serves on the Boards of the Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc. and the Virginia Forest Based Economic Development Council.  Dave is a founding director of the Hanover Education Foundation.

He serves on the boards of several regional councils and local agencies including the Hanover County Social Services Board and is the regional head in Virginia of NC State University’s alumni and scholarship recruiting.  He served on the Virginia Senate Commission for Excellence and Accountability in Education, as Trustee of Virginia’s Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership and as Chair of the Hanover Business Advisory Committee.

He is a Board member of the US Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia is Secretary of the Northern Virginia Economic Development Coalition; and, is a member of the Virginia Economic Development Association, the Greater Richmond Technology Council, and the Richmond Venture Forum.

Dave and his wife Judy live in Hanover where he is a Director of his Rotary Club and is an Elder and Treasurer of his church.

He earned an MBA from University of Richmond and is a graduate in Engineering from NC State University.  He has studied at Brookings Institute and the Darden School at University of Virginia.

 

 

Robert Carpenter

Robert Carpenter joined SBA’s Finance Division in 1993 as a Loan Specialist/Business Development Specialist and in this capacity he works directly with area lenders to increase their participation in, and understanding of, SBA’s guaranty loan programs.  Robert assists lenders with understanding and complying with the SBA’s policies and regulations concerning the guaranteed loan application process, and eligibility. Robert also educates area lenders and business owners within the servicing area on SBA’s programs and services.

Prior to his appointment as Loan Specialist, Robert served within SBA’s 8(a) Business Development program within the Office of Minority Small Business and Capital Ownership Development from 1990 to 1993. 

Robert is a graduate from the School of Business Management of the University of Maryland, with a major in Marketing.
